Bringing the Word of God to the Body

This website describes the "living" church that is blessed to be able to meet at the Mount Mitchell Baptist Church building in Busick, North Carolina. The members and friends of this group of believers form a part of the Body of Christ. Mount Mitchell Church is more than a building, it is the fullness of the spiritual essence of brothers and sisters sharing the journey of our lives in Christ. It has been my honor and privilege to serve God with the folks of Mount Mitchell since 1992. I am blessed with a congregation that love the Lord, the Word of God and each other. I want to thank the members and friends of Mount Mitchell for their support and prayers. There is no way that I or any of us can continue in service to God without the prayers and love of the living church. Mount Mitchell is truly a church family that loves and lifts each other up.

With God's mercy and grace, we can only hope to continue to serve Him and to lift up the name of Jesus our Savior and Lord. I thank God for each of those that share in the journey of Mount Mitchell Church and pray that we may continue in faithfulness to serve God at this special place.
